Pet

A companion on your desk and phone that you talk to like a person, which runs your superpowers on whatever is on your screen.

What it gives you

A companion you talk to like a person. It applies your saved superpowers to whatever is on your screen. Point, talk, and it speaks the headline and copies the full result.

How you use it

• Right-click the pet to chat or to open its Super menu.
• Pick a superpower, freeze the screen, and drag over the part you mean.
• Type or talk.
• The pet speaks a short headline and copies the full result, ready to paste.

Superpowers in the Super menu

The Super menu is a list of superpowers. Each is one of two kinds:

• A skill, which is a set of written instructions. Offerify and Monificate are the first two.
• A stack, which is a chain of model steps run through Stack Lab.

A cast of pets

The pet comes as a cast of characters with a small shop to choose from. On the desk it shows its thinking as thought-bubble clouds.

Principles

• Each skill is self-contained.
• Untested on hardware is untested. Realtime speech is not called working until someone has heard it work.

Status

Live in the 0.0.1 alpha on Mac and iPhone. Realtime two-way voice is in development.
