Cross-review
Work is checked by a second perspective, because a reviewer that thinks like the author tends to share its blind spots.
Why
A reviewer that thinks the same way as the author tends to miss the same things. A reviewer with a different background catches a different class of mistakes. For AI models, that means a model from a different family.
Where Kinesis uses it
- In the Review loop, two different reviewers read the same rules.
- In the Wiki, two different models check each other's changes.
- In Kinesis Go, proposed changes are reviewed before they are accepted.
The compare
A compare sorts every point into four groups:
- both agree
- only the first reviewer saw it
- only the second reviewer saw it
- they disagree
Disagreements are not settled quietly. They stay visible, marked as contested, with both sources.
