Ideas
Noticing vs deciding
Machines notice, rank and propose; people make the choices that matter, and their attention is treated as the scarce resource.
The idea
Kinesis splits work in two:
- Noticing is finding what might matter, ranking it, and explaining why. Machines are good at this and never get tired of it.
- Deciding is choosing what to do about it. When a choice matters, a person makes it.
Attention is the budget
If machines notice everything and send all of it, people drown. So Kinesis limits what reaches you:
- Plots sends only a few proposals at a time.
- Scout sends one digest, not one notice per idea.
- Zero shows a run card and waits before building anything.
Where it shows up
- A plot is a proposal with its reason. Nothing accepts it for you.
- Stack Lab puts a gate only where a person's judgment is the point.
- Sky proposes an answer for you to confirm.
Why it matters
Agents that decide quietly create surprises. Agents that ask about everything create noise. Noticing broadly and deciding narrowly avoids both.
