How it's built
Architecture
A plain overview of how Kinesis fits together, with a core that does the work and thin apps that show it.
The shape
Kinesis has three layers.
- A core that does the work.
- Apps that are views. The iPhone, iPad and Mac app, the web app and the desktop editions show the work. They do not hold it. See Thin views.
- Agents and models. AI sessions from more than one model family. See Models.
Around the core
- Control plane keeps track of where finished work lands.
- Conventions logs and reviews rule changes.
- The Wiki is a knowledge base Kinesis keeps current.
Changing Kinesis carefully
A change is not called live until it is seen working. See Committed is not live.
