Kinesis's edition of the open-source FreeFlow voice dictation app.

What it is

FreeFlow is an open-source voice dictation app for the Mac. You hold a key, speak, and your words are typed for you. FreeFlow Kinesis is the Kinesis edition of it, so dictation runs as part of Kinesis.

What Kinesis adds

  • Small changes to upstream. Kinesis keeps its edits to the upstream code small, which keeps the edition easy to keep current.
  • Your shortcuts and vocabulary. Dictation keeps the shortcuts, vocabulary and microphone you choose.
  • Longer recordings. Long dictations are given enough time to finish.
  • Kinesis look. Its own icon and a calm Kinesis style.
